A TANG DYNASTY LADY PRACTICING POLO

Shan Huan is the wife of the governor of Xu Chang province within the Tang empire. She is very good in playing polo(call Ji Ju 击鞠 in Chinese), a popular sport for men and women during the Tang dynasty. She won many competition and has been a prominent member for the local team. Today she is practicing together with her favorite horse Bai Chang, but they are not performing very well. Shan Huan suspect there is something wrong with the mallet and make a close up inspection.
