SUN WU IMPERIAL GUARD EQUIPMENTS (THREE KINGDOMS PERIOD, 229 A.D.) | 画作.三国孙吴禁军装备图鉴
Following the previous drawing of the Shu Han Infantryman equipments, this time we take a look at the Sun Wu imperial guards. The imperial guards are responsible for the safety of the new capital Jian Ye, established by emperor Sun Quan in 229 A.D. The primary weapon include a long iron sword, which considered a symbol of superior ironworks in the Sun Wu territory. Other notable weapon include the throwing halberd, which is unique to that period. The helmet is based on an artifact unearthed near the site of ancient Jian Ye. 紧接上回的三国季汉北伐军装备，现在一起来探讨一下孙吴的禁军装备。孙吴禁军又称羽林军，负责保卫孙权的新都建业城(石头城)。这位禁军的主要武器包括了一把特长的环首铁刀，这是孙吴冶炼技术比较发达的表现。其他值得留意的武器是手戟，这是一种抛投武器，流行于汉代。防具方面，头盔的造形是参考自南京出土的黄龙元年盔。由于我的资料有限，画中装备的考究难免会有一定程度上的疏漏。怨我抛砖引玉，以望大家能给于各种意见与指正。谢谢！
