JOURNAL SKETCH: EARLY MING OFFICIAL ATTIRE 绘画日志: 明初官兵服饰探讨

Since my Patreon page will no longer update and suspending all pledges, I would like to share some journal sketches that originally post on it.
I am always curious about the soldier attire during the early Ming dynasty. From the materials I managed to found, it seems like they had inherited a lot of element from the Yuan Dynasty (Mongolian influence). And I am very much convinced that they looks significantly different from the attire during the mid and late Ming Dynasty.
In this sketches, I try to explore the possibility of how Ming officials could have looks like when admiral Zheng He launched his expedition to southeast Asia and beyond.

我一向都对明代初期的官僚服饰非常好奇, 因为其可能继承了很多元代服饰的元素，与我们所熟悉的明中/后期的样式有一些不同。我现时的主要参考是明初鲁荒王的出土袍服。
这则日志里主要是探讨明初永乐年间随郑和下西洋时的官兵模样。更令我感兴趣的是郑和本人当时的宦官服饰样式如何，还有随其左右的回族官兵到底是怎么样的。这些都值得探讨。
另外值得一提的是，洪武年间所成立的锦衣卫可能也与我们一般印象中的很不一样。
